The High Country equips a 6.2-liter EcoTec3® V8 rated at 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. This engine is optional on select trims such as the Z71 and RST. The third engine is a Duramax® 3.0-liter Turbo Diesel that achieves 305 horsepower, 495 lb-ft of torque, and a best-in-class 728 miles of EPA-estimated highway driving range. This engine is optional for several of the higher-end trims.
